  • Chilli flakes – 1 teaspoon (optional, for heat)

  • Rosemary – ½ teaspoon
  • Water – for boiling pasta
  • Oil – for cooking steak

How to Make Creamy Steak Pasta – Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prep and Marinate the Steak

Cut the steak into small, bite-sized cubes.
Season with salt, black pepper, and ginger garlic paste. Let it marinate for 10–15 minutes while you prep the pasta.

2. Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain and set aside.

3. Sear the Steak

Heat 1–2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated steak pieces and sear until browned on both sides.
Lower the heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until fully cooked and tender.

4. Make the Creamy Sauce

To the pan with the steak, add cream, cheddar cheese, parmesan, garlic powder, chilli flakes, and the crumbled chicken stock cube.
Stir continuously until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth and rich.

5. Combine Pasta and Herbs

Add the cooked pasta directly into the creamy steak sauce.
Sprinkle in oregano and rosemary, then mix well to coat all the pasta in the sauce.

Let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes to bring everything together.
Taste and adjust seasoning as needed with more salt or pepper.

Serving Suggestions

  • Serve hot, garnished with extra parmesan or a sprinkle of chilli flakes
  • Pair with garlic bread or a fresh green salad for a complete meal
  • Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce feels too thick

Storage and Reheating Tips

  • Refrigerate: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2–3 days
  • Reheat: Warm on the stove with a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce
  • Freeze: Not recommended, as the cream-based sauce may split when thawed

Final Notes

  • Swap penne for any pasta you like – fusilli, rigatoni, or even spaghetti
  • For extra richness, add a pat of butter at the end
  • You can easily bulk this up with mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes
